Hi!  I’m Nicole      

I’m a Registered Dietitian nutrition coach, Binge Eating counselor and educator with a passion for health and nutrition. I am completely dedicated to helping you create meaningful and lasting change in your life .

My cozy office is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, CA, where I work with clients face-to-face, and with clients from anywhere in the world online. I’m bilingual and offer English or French consultation services.

How did I get started?

After completing my bachelor’s in science and nutrition from the University of Moncton, I became certified as a Registered Dietitian 15 years ago. Becoming a dietitian requires extensive education and training, including completing a bachelor's degree in nutrition science, completing a supervised practicum program, and passing a national registration exam. It was extremely rewarding to gain a deep understanding of the science behind nutrition and how to apply that knowledge to help others.

During the first six years of my career as a Registered Dietitian I spent my time working in clinical health care, community health, and government management and policy positions.

Since 2012, I’ve worked with 1000+ clients one-on-one and am obsessed with learning, helping, and seeing their growth.

I have additional formal training in Binge Eating Disorder Training, Obesity Training, a Coaching Certification, and Mindfulness and Meditation.

One-on-one work over the last 15 years has given me an extensive understanding of people’s daily challenges and what actually helps and works.

Getting a bit personal.

Initially, what really drove me to do this work was my complicated childhood and adult experience with food, and my body.

I tried my first with diet when I was around 8, and for the 15 + years that followed, I struggled with yo-yo dieting, binge eating, and a very difficult relationship with food and my body. Although I was grasping for perfection in my body and with my eating habits, I eventually developed binge eating and extreme cycles of yo-yo dieting instead. I struggled for years to find my way out and into a balanced lifestyle.

After hitting rock bottom mentally and physically, and seeking help in various places, including a Mindfulness Program, I began my road to balance, health, and happiness.

Finding balance in my eating habits, getting out of a perfectionism mindset, and focusing on the real reason it was worth nourishing myself both mentally and physically allowed me to feel “unstuck” and start to learn how to thrive. Now, my mission is to help my clients do the same.

I know first-hand how hard healthy eating can feel when you’re stuck in a yo-yo cycle of restriction and failure.
